Gala News

Saturday, November 10th • 5-10pm

We hope to see you at the Gala this Saturday night!  Make sure to register ahead of time for our auction and check out all of the great items we have up for bid!  We are still looking for several more volunteers for the event—just an hour of your time makes such a difference.  Please sign up today.

General PTA Meeting, Dinner, and Middle School Panel

Next Thursday, November 15th • 6-8pm

PTA-hosted dinner will be pulled pork and brisket from Guerra’s To Go with green salad, lentil salad, fruit and brioche from Brioche Pasquier.  Be sure to RSVP for the dinner so we can provide enough food!

PTA Meeting: Our initial playground plans need to be revised. Come to the meeting to discuss alternatives like adding turf and/or a different playground structure. Childcare will be provided in the auditorium.

Starting at 7pm, a Middle School Panel comprised of former Sunset students will share their experiences at our feeder, A.P. Giannini. Parents and students are welcome to the Panel discussion. The panel will be moderated by Heidi Smoot, former Sunset PTA and APG PTSA President.

Help with Tomorrow’s School Tour

Our next school tour is tomorrow, November 15th, at 9am.  We’re in need of parent volunteers to join us in welcoming prospective parents and and answering questions about our wonderful school!    We meet in the sitting area outside the library after the morning bell.  Just put on a name tag and a smile. You’re welcome to stay for as little or as long as you’d like.

MELISSA Choy deserves a shout-out this week for always keeping our Lost and Found organized and now, cleared! She, Mr. Mannion and Ms. Anna worked together to deliver labeled clothing back to their respective owners. We appreciate you!
