This Week’s Shout-outs
Your help is much appreciated!
Please give a big end-of-year THANK YOU to all of our 1st and 2nd grade Science Sack helpers: Arnel Bautista, Mital Patel, Tiffany Holcombe, Nicole Howell, Larry Yee, Megan O’Neill, Paul Shih, Josephine Kong, and Mary Fong. These volunteers have spent countless hours spread over 20+ weeks throughout the school year. They can often be seen in the hallways and/or supply closet on Mondays and Wednesdays collecting, organizing, resupplying, and redistributing the red and green Science Sacks (over 130!) to 6 different classrooms! We appreciate all the hard work involved in continuing this PTA-funded program for our students to learn out of the classroom. Go Science!
The PTA Board members that are moving on from Sunset deserve one last shoutout. Heidi Smoot, Adrienne Klopf, Jane Rogers, Sophie Rich, and Karina Reese, thank you for all the time, enthusiasm and great ideas you’ve given us over the years. We are a better school because of you!
