Lost & Found: Last Call!

Must be cleared by Friday, June 1th

Can you believe we only have 3 weeks of school left? We have collected a mound of jackets, clothing, water bottles, books and lunch containers in the Lost & Found area, which is located in the cafeteria. Please check it for your items and take them home by Friday,  June 1st. Anything left behind will be thrown away, or sent off to and sold on Schoola to benefit Sunset Elementary.

 This Week’s Shout-outs

Your help is much appreciated!

A super big thank you to Tony Yee, Catherine Tai and Mari Tuominen for creating an amazing luncheon to honor our fantastic Sunset Staff! Shout-outs for helping with the luncheon also go to Betty Lee, Adrienne Klopf, Mona Souryavong, Lieng Souryavong, Christine Tam, Heidi Smoot, Michelle Bermudez, and Lisa D’Acquisto.

Much gratitude to the Catherine Tai for her many years as the Hospitality Committee Chair. We thank her and and all the parents in Hospitality for organizing our monthly Coffee Chats, PTA meeting dinners, Garden Day lunches and Teacher Luncheons. These events would not have been as fun without all the wonderful food! We welcome Eva Wexler as next year’s Chair!

Let’s also give a big thank you to Megan O’Neill for organizing all the Garden Days for Sunset this year! Shout out to Ms. Kyla, Ms. Ingrid, and all the volunteers that came out last Saturday. Sunset’s gardens look wonderful thanks to all their hours of hard work. Be sure to stop by the gardens to see the awesome new totem poles!
