Families of Sunset PTA
The Families of Sunset PTA is proud to be part of the Sunset Elementary School community.
The mission of the Families of Sunset PTA is to positively impact the lives of children and families. At Sunset Elementary, we work together to support school and district programs, to build the school community, and to help our teachers and staff enrich the learning experience for each and every one of our students.
Our PTA is passionate about bringing the community together and creating shared experiences. We organize and sponsor events such as the Sunset Gala, Spring Carnival, Talent Show, Annual School Picnic, Garden Days, and the Book Fair.
All parents and caregivers of children attending Sunset Elementary are encouraged to join the PTA at an annual cost of $6.50 per person, and to attend the general association meetings held in September, November, February, and April, during the school year.
The Families of Sunset PTA is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. Our federal tax identification number is 91-1812161. The official name of our group is “PTA California Congress of Parents Teachers & Students Inc., Families of Sunset PTA.”
